Civil Engineering Department is the oldest department since the inception of the institute in 1954. Department has multifaceted faculties having wide areas of experience in teaching, industrial consultancies, projects. and quality control testing works. Civil engineering enjoys the privilege of eight well-established dedicated laboratories for different areas of specialization. The teachers of the department are engaged in active research and have successfully guided M.Sc. Engg. and Ph.D. students. Currently, the department offers four-year undergraduate programs and shortly starting regularly. postgraduate courses.
